8" (20 cm.) diam. 9"h. Waist-up porcelain nude lady with elaborately-waved brown sculpted hair captured in a chignon that is wrapped with aqua ribbon, her arms bent at the elbows, extended from her body and held modestly in front of her bosom. The half-doll is wearing a gilt metallic halter which is attached to a flared metallic frame designed to appear as her skirt, and which covers the porcelain vanity bowl. The bowl frame is marked "Bte SGDG Depose" and the bowl is stamped "M-Fre Limoges France". Excellent condition. Dressel & Kister half-doll for the French market, circa 1920, the elegant lady is beautifully-fitted to the metal-filigree gilt frame.
