All carved wooden doll with socket head, painted brown intaglio-sculpted eyes white eye dots, closed mouth with pensive expression, blonde mohair wig, wooden spring-jointed body with early stocking groove, antique undergarments. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17, '11 USA and Foreign Countries. Excellent condition with original finish except paint rub on nose and philtrum, wig not original. Schoenhut, circa 1912.
