Each has bisque head, brown glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth (larger doll), slightly parted lips with tiny porcelain teeth (smaller doll) mohair wig; the larger doll has shoulderhead, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms, marked SH 2/0 950; the smaller doll has socket head, paper mache body with painted black socks and brown one-strap shoes, marked SH. Excellent condition. Germany, Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. beautiful original costumes. NOTE: ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS.
