All composition with socket head, painted hair with long forelock curl, painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes with long lashes, button-shaped nose, jointing at shoulders and hips, painted black boots. Marks: Effanbee Skippy c. P.L. Crosby. Composition excellent, wearing (not original) blue overalls and white shirt. Effanbee, mid-1930s, their licensed Skippy doll, based on the comic strip character drawn by Percy Crosby, and in 1931 made into a movie with child actor, Jackie Cooper.
