Stockinette doll depicting older woman with stitch-shaped face, painted facial features, white mohair wig under attached coiffure, wearing original costume and apron, wooden shoes, and carrying a basket of kitchen wares that she is selling. Included with the doll is an advertising sheet by Bernard Ravca, telling about his dolls, his doll making history along with a personal hand-typed letter to a buyer which concludes "forgive this mile-long chatting of an old man", and is personally signed Bernard Ravca.
