Description
11 1/2" (29 cm.) Center-part blonde hair with soft curls, centered blue eyes with long rooted lashes, bright coral lips, blush, living style articulated body, original costume comprising headband, blouse with fringed detail at wrists, pants, and brown flat shoes; wrist tag detached but included. Condition: near mint. Mattel, 1971. The fashion was designed by Judith Brewer Curtis who was earlier known for originating the "Paper Dress", a fad that was popular in the mid-1960s. She was part of the Barbie design department in the early 1970s before leaving Mattel for a very successful career as a costume designer for television and movies.
