20" (51 cm.) Dark blonde wig with curly bangs and curls tumbling onto shoulders. Ensemble comprising cotton flared skirt, tailored striped cotton shirt with floral accent, white lace petticoat, pink taffeta panties with Val lace trim, seamed nylon hose, lavender high heels, woven straw pale pink cloche hat with open crown, chatelaine watch on a chain, solitaire. Excellent condition with especially lovely complexion. Alexander, model 2114, 1957, with wrist tag, the doll was offered in blue and this very rare variation of purple. It was described in the 1957 Alexander catalog as "dressed for any summer morning" and with her skirt "so skillfully cut that it hangs in soft folds".
