Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, impressed dimples at lip corners and philtrum, extended-length brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent, light retouch on hands. Marks: 17 103. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: grand doll has beautiful bisque, original early body, and wearing outstanding early costume and very rare and lush waist-length mohair wig.
