20" (50 cm.) Bisque socket head, pale blue painted eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, heavy eyelids, one-stroke dash brows, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, hands repainted. Marks: K*R 101 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, the model marketed as "Marie" from the firm's art character series of that year. Value Points: especially well-defined wistful expression with choice bisque and painting, wonderful antique costume.
