Description
11" (28 cm.) All-wooden doll with socket head, blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, blonde mohair curly wig, baby body with jointing at shoulders and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1890, the doll was marketed as "bebe en tout bois" (all-wooden doll). Comments: included with the doll is original costume comprising undergarments, woven socks, lace-trimmed cotton gown, ivory cashmere wool robe, and silk lined woven cap.
