Description
8" (20 cm.) Carved wooden head with tinted details of eyes, brows and mouth, black painted pate with three parts at crown decorated with two little combs, cloth body, wooden hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope Mission, circa 1920. Value Points: the little girl is wearing pink brocade tunic with frog closures and aqua edging, wide-legged green brocade pants, pink slippers and matching head band with tea blue edging and embroidery and with attached yarn hair on head band.
