Description
8" (20 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown painted side-glancing eyes, painted curly upper lashes, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with 0-shaped lips, blonde mohair wig under red felt cap, muslin body with floppy legs, felt hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (silver foil tag penciled 310/21 on reverse). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935. Value Points: the rosy-cheeked lad wears original blue and black felt costume with red scalloped trim, red felt cap, wooden shoes, and carries a little wooden pig.
