13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, delicate feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, impressed cheek dimples and laughter crinkles at eye corners, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 141 1. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1912, from their art character series. Value Points: rare model, especially charming in this petite size, with delightfully-defined dimples and laughter lines, fine quality of bisque, original wig, body and body finish.
