Solid-domed porcelain shoulderhead with slit at crown for wig placement, sculpted definition of eye sockets with red and black upper eyeliner, blue upper glancing painted eyes, circle-accented nostrils, closed mouth with full lips, defined ears, brunette mohair wig, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, fine antique gown, undergarments, red leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: rarity factors include unusual slit-dome head construction, captivating facial sculpting.
