12" (30 cm.) Carved wooden head with oval shaped face, bald pate with painted black pate at back of head, incised age wrinkles on forehead, tiny painted black eyes, tinted brows, closed mouth, painted moustache, cloth body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope mission, circa 1920s. Value Points: wearing his original brown silk brocade jacket with black frog closures over blue silk brocade tunic, trousers with ankle ties, black silk slippers.
