30" (76 cm.) Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark encircling eyeliner, painted curly lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked brows with decorative glaze, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, lovely antique white-wear costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 12 (head) Bebe Bru (body). Comments: Bebe Bru, circa 1890, a rare transitional model made for one or two years only with this body prior to the "R" model bebe. Value Points: very beautiful expression with luminous deep eyes, finest quality bisque and painting.
