22" (56 cm.) Honey-toned poured wax shoulderhead with face slightly inclined to the side, and with elongated slender throat and slightly-modeled bosom, half-moon shaped brown glass inset heavily-lidded eyes, defined brows and eyeliner, closed mouth with glaze-accented lips, brunette mohair wig inserted into scalp, softly-stuffed muslin body, poured wax lower limbs with grommet attachments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, in the Pierotti manner, circa 1875, portrait of English aristocratic lady of the era. Value Points: the beautifully-preserved and wearing original aqua silk gown with embroidered tulle overlay.
