Description
9" (23 cm.) Carved wooden head with defined and tinted facial features, painted side-parted hair in short boyish fashion, cloth body, wooden hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope Mission, circa 1920. Value Points: wearing original blue polished cotton tunic under black vest with frog closures, white shirt, striped trousers with tied ankles, black slippers and cap; the costume has faintly-penciled Chinese character name of maker or doll inside costume.
