6" (15 cm.) l. Arranged upon a velvet covered platform with ormolu edging is a charming scene of a bisque boy with sculpted hat and costume who is pushing an ormolu wheel barrow with domed glass cover over tufted silk interior. The glass cover has fine etched design, and the case was designed for use as a presentation case for fine miniature object or jewelry. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1890.
