18" (46 cm.) All-composition with socket head, sleep eyes, mohair lashes, open mouth, row of teeth, dimpled cheeks, blonde mohair wig in ringlet curls, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, very slight eye fading. Marks: Ideal Shirley Temple Cop, Ideal N&T Co. Comments: portrait doll of the child star, circa 1935, by Ideal. Value Points: wearing original tagged smocked dress inspired by a dress worn by Shirley in the film "Captain January", original undergarment, socks and shoes, and beautiful original curls.
