Description
16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with swivel head, pressed felt face with painted blue side-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, blushed cheeks, blonde mohair bobbed wig, stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips. Wearing original yellow polka dot shirt attached to black and white tattersall plaid cotton pants, black bow tie, black flannel jacket, top hat with brim, socks and black shoes with buckle trim. The costume is tagged "David Copperfield Madame Alexander NY". Very good condition, some cheek rubs. Madame Alexander, 1935, from her series of Dickens character dolls.
