31" (79 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brushstroked brows with feathered details, very full cheeks, slightly-parted lips, square-cut teeth, dimpled chin, brunette mohair wig, plump composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 16. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: unusual expression, very fine lustrous bisque, original body and body finish, fine antique linen three-piece ensemble, undergarments, socks, shoes.
