29" (74 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead depicting adult lady with slender oval facial shaped and elongated throat, darkest brown sculpted hair waved softly from face with painted details of feathering at forehead, having soft rolls at sides of face and a braided chignon at the back of head with cascading ringlet curls, painted blue downcast eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, antique gown and undergarments, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 12 (lettered inside front shoulderplate). Comments: Lippert & Haas, Schlaggenwald, circa 1850. Value Points: rare model with outstanding modeling, regal pose, wonderful detail of hair.
