7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, dark glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde curly wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white socks with magenta rims, black five-lace heeled shoes with little bows, princess style dress with red feather-stitch embroidery and lace trim, undergarments, matching bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 1/2 (head and legs). Comments: Germany, attributed to Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: rare model with beguiling expression, fancily-painted boots, swivel head.
