Bisque socket head, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted blush, brushstroked and feathered brows, rose-blushed eyeshadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, separately-applied pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique bronze silk costume with brown velvet yoke, undergarments, socks, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 EJ. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1882, the earliest presentation of his celebrated EJ signature model. Value Points: very beautiful bebe, the rare model has finest creamy bisque which contrasts her soft brown eyes, original body and body finish.
