Description
6" (15 cm.) x 4". On heavy cardstock, the promotional card features a sepia-toned photograph of two Bebes, Bru on one side, and on the other a description of the Bebe Bru described as (translated) "the most elegant, the most durable, and the best articulated of all the bebes of Paris". The card was printed at Berthaud of 8 Rue Cadet in Paris, circa 1889, possibly in conjunction with the 1889 Universal Exhibition in Paris. Excellent condition, two tape spots at edges. A rare and original early promotional card.
