8" (20 cm.) Wooden socket head with oval face and expressive features, tinted eyes, brows and mouth, bald crown with painted black pate accented by three shaved part lines accented with coral hair combs, black queue, cloth body, wooden hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Wooden Door of Hope, circa 1915. Value Points: rare coiffure, wearing original costume comprising rose silk jacket with aqua frog closures, over cotton tunic, grey brocade pants, aqua embroidered slippers.
