Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, brown glass paperweight inset eyes with black iris outlines, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, very full outlined lips of closed mouth, well-defined tongue tip, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid bebe body with scalloped edge collarette, kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque forearms, gusset-jointed hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 7 (head) No 7 Bru Jne (shoulders) (Bru paper label on chest). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1882. Value Points: finest modeling portraying a very beautiful child is enhanced by most delicate bisque and complexion, original body, perfect bisque hands, wearing original Bru ivory silk and red velvet costume, matching bonnet, undergarments, stockings, Bru leather shoes signed "B".
