Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) One-piece all-bisque head, torso and legs with very plump modeling of the sturdily-posed legs with shapely muscles and tiny ankles, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointing at shoulders with hands in little fists, painted knee-high stockings with brown heeled ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1885. Value Points: wonderful all-original doll with original wig, fancy painted boots, plump wistful expression, and wearing original cream knit dress with matching jacket and purse, woven straw bonnet with aqua silk bows.
