10" (25 cm.) l. 7"h. The rectangular wooden table with cabriole legs trimmed with gilt bronze mounts has hinged lid which flips open to a felt-covered game table with hidden storage area. When closed, the table appears as an elegant parlor table with hand-painted bronze green finish and having gilt and floral decorations on the legs and table top, centering a country scene with water mill, bridge, man and donkey, the scene initialed J.R. Excellent condition. French, maitrise model of French 18th century table, mid-1900s.
