Including Meg with Margaret face and blonde floss wig with ringlet curls, wearing red and white checkered dress with taffeta bodice and sleeves, cotton petticoat, pantalets; Jo with Maggie face, brunette floss wig drawn back into net captured snood, wearing plaid cotton gown with black velvet bodice, polished cotton petticoat with plaid hem ruffle, pantalets; Beth with Maggie face, brunette floss wig in centerpart drawn away from face into elongated pageboy curls, wearing tagged teal print cotton dress with lacy bodice, pink rick-rack and buttons, crisp petticoat and pantalets with pink bows; Amy with Margaret face, blonde flossed wig with coronet at her crown and pageboy curls held by net at the nape, wearing blue cotton gown with attached white pique pinafore with cutwork and red scalloped edging, red bows; and Marme with Margaret face, dark brunette flossed wig drawn from face into a black snood at her nape and with braided coronet at her crown, wearing dark green cotton serge gown with lace collar and black velvet trim, petticoat, and panties. Each doll has socks and black shoes with little bows, and each costume is tagged with the name of the doll. Near mint condition. Alexander, 1948, each doll has original gold cloverleaf tag with its name, and each is preserved in its original box. An exceptionally beautifully-preserved full set with bright rosy cheeks, perfect coiffures and crisp fresh costumes.
