11" (28 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, very plump cheeks, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center line between the lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, well-defined musculature in torso, peg-jointed plump bisque arms and legs, cupped right fist, well-shaped legs with tiny ankles and bare feet. Condition: generally excellent, small chip on right leg rim, hairline at back right calf. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: wonderful model with deeply-defined musculature, rare bisque feet, rare grand size.
