29" (74 cm.) Poured wax shoulderhead with honey complexion, blue glass inset eyes, closed mouth with modeled interior, tongue tip, short blonde hair with separately inserted tendrils, original cloth body, wax arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, possibly Montanari, circa 1860. Value Points: most appealing character face with wonderful expression, original body, fine antique costume, bearing a blue ribbon award from 1965 from the Letitia Penn doll club.
