Description
6" (15 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, plump chin, blonde mohair wig in long braid, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white socks with purple ties and black four-lace ankle boots, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: an especially beautiful example of the early all-bisque doll with original wig, gentle enigmatic smile.
