Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderhead with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, amber-brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brushstroked brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with tiny tongue tip, outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, slender kid bebe body with scalloped upper edge, kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque forearms, Chevrot hinged hips, wooden lower legs. Condition: generally excellent, original body in near mint condition. Marks: Bru Jne 1 (head and shoulders) Bebe Brevete Bte SGDG...(paper label on chest). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1884. Value Points: the gorgeous bebe combines rarity of size, exceptional modeling and painting, near mint body and bisque hands, beautiful antique costume including cream kidskin shoes marked "B" in oval.
