25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, large brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, open mouth, outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K 1/2 made in Germany 14 1/2 143 (head) Germany (body) Made for G.A. Schwarz Philadelphia (original paper label on body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: unusually large example of this model, with original body and body finish, original store label.
