Description
17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted lashes and brows, grey eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth, ash blonde side-parted bobbed hair, felt body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci 300/27 (original paper label, also with original cloth tag). Comments: Lenci, circa 1930, from their Sports Series. Value Points: wearing original costume comprising white short-sleeved shirt with patch pockets, striped red/brown felt shorts, socks, white felt cap with felt applique of red tennis racquets, and carrying wooden tennis racquet.
