12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, plump face, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with feathering, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: rare closed mouth model with original body and body finish.
