Description
12" (30 cm.) and 6". Each is polychromed terra cotta posed in resting reclining pose, including cow and ox with original painted finish and exceptional detail of modeling such as curled tail, dewlap, muzzle, mane and horns. Naples, late 1700s, attributed to the workshops of Francesco Gallo who was a modeler at the Royal Porcelain Factory specializing in animals. Included are two wooden benches and food stuffs. Excellent condition. $1200/1500
