20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, very large brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 225 12. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1890s. Value Points: dramatic large brown eyes are complemented by delicate bisque and full cheeks, original body and body finish, lovely antique costume and wig.
