Description
10 1/2" (27 cm.) x 7". The arched top wooden cabinet with painted exterior finish and decorations has glass front over fitted interior with hand-painted walls. Arranged inside are five wax figures depicting royalty including two women, two men and baby in cradle, while two cherubs and another figure gaze down at the scene from above; each of the figures is wearing original silk costume with gilt metallic and lace trim. Excellent condition, some dustiness of interior and contents. Late 1700s.
