Description
20" (51 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, sculpted short black curly hair with painted details around the face, painted brown eyes, lightly-outlined eyes, accented nostrils, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, wearing black woolen suit with silk shirt and black velvet bow, saddle shoes. Condition: generally excellent, slight touch-up at right shoulder seam. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: well sculpted detail of hair with original feathering detail.
