9" (23 cm.) Bisque swivel head with very plump face on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, pronounced rose-blushed eye shadow, chin and cheek blush, accented nostrils, open mouth with slightly-parted outlined lips, two square cut upper teeth, blonde hip-length mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, modeled bent elbows, cupped right hand, muscular legs, painted yellow heeled boots with black laces and heels, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake on right top leg rim. Marks: 102/12 (head) 12 (arms). Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model with captivating proud pose and expression, distinctive body, and distinctive facial painting.
