Description
8" (20 cm.) Brunette side-parted closely-cropped hair, bendable-knee walking-style body. Wearing black velvet formal jacket with tails and silk lapels, floral boutonniere, shirt, grey silk tie with faux-diamond stickpin, cummerbund, striped trousers, black socks, black side-snap shoes. The costume is labeled "Alexander-kins by Madame Alexander Reg. US Pat. Off NY USA". Near mint condition. Rosy cheeks, perfect coiffure and costume. Alexander, model #572, original box stamped "572", the doll appeared in the 1958 catalog described as "dressed impeccably" yet in typical Bridegroom manner "looks a bit bewildered".
