Description
17" (43 cm.) All composition with socket head and five piece body, sleep eyes, mohair lashes, original blonde mohair wig in ringlet curls. Marks: Shirley Temple Cop. Ideal N&TCo (head) Shirley Temple 17 (torso). Condition: generally excellent, 1/2" tight split at back neck. Comments: wearing open-weave cotton dress with so-called "waffle weave", one-piece undergarment, socks, shoes and celluloid pin. Ideal, circa 1934, worn by Shirley in early publicity photographs, the dress has early woven cloth NRA label, and is a rare 17" size.
