Description
8" (20 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, delicately painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with hint of smile, pale blonde mohair wig in original unique coiffure, original commercial muslin body with bisque arms to above the elbows, and bisque lower legs with bare bisque feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 2/0 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1880. Value Points: rare early closed mouth model, rare original body and coiffure, fine antique costume. Provenance: Legoland Museum.
