14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, brown glass eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with white space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 117. Comments: Sonneberg, mystery maker, circa 1885. Value Points: lovely complexion on the petite closed mouth doll.
