11" (28 cm.) All composition with socket head, blue sleep eyes, real lashes, dark eyeshadow, tiny closed mouth, jointing at shoulders and legs. She is wearing original elaborate Brazilian costume with green velvet skirt lavishly trimmed with colorful rick-rack, shawl, petticoat, panties, socks, green side-snap shoes, bracelets, bangle earrings, and with red bandanna and basket of fruit on her head, The costume has original cloth label "Madame Alexander, New York USA". Near mint condition. Madame Alexander, 1940, inspired by the popular Brazilian dancer/singer Carmen Miranda.
