Description
9" (23 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut neck socket, large blue glass eyes, red eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with protruding neck dowel which supports the head, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: Sonneberg, mystery maker, circa 1885. Value Points: precious little closed mouth child with rare original body.
