Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, blonde mohair wig in waist-length braid, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, the petite mignonette was presented as "poupee de poche" (pocket doll) in reference to their dainty size, circa 1882. Value Points: most endearing facial expression, rare bare feet, beautiful original costume and wig.
